Become Part of Bridlington Spa's History

For a one off donation, you can dedicate a seat in the historic Edwardian theatre. Maybe you want to celebrate a special occasion, honour a loved one, commemorate a milestone, or simply show your support for live theatre.

Pricing

  • £200 for a seat dedication lasting five years
  • £100 for a seat dedication lasting two years

What's Included?

Each named seat will feature a personalised plaque installed on a seat within the theatre.

Important Information

  • Naming a seat does not constitute ownership of the seat.
  • A named seat does not guarantee its availability for any performance.
  • Seats are dedicated for the selected period only (two or five years).
  • Plaque wording subject to approval

How does naming a seat support Bridlington Spa?

Funds raised through the Name a Seat campaign will contribute towards:

  • The ongoing upkeep and preservation of Bridlington Spa's historic Edwardian theatre.
  • Investment in new equipment and facilities.

How to purchase a plaque

All purchases must be made through the Box Office directly. When contacting the team to enquire, please include:

  • Name
  • Contact telephone number
  • Email address

  • Name or message to go on the plaque (max. 50 characters)

Terms and Conditions
  • Naming a seat does not confer ownership of, or priority access to, that seat when booking tickets. If you wish to sit in your named seat, you must purchase a ticket for the relevant performance, subject to availability.
  • The maximum inscription length is 55 characters, including spaces and punctuation.
  • Bridlington Spa reserves the right to refuse inscriptions that are offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, political, commercial, or otherwise considered inappropriate.
  • Your plaque will remain in place for either two or five years from the date of purchase, depending on the option selected. We will endeavour to contact you before the expiry date to offer the opportunity to renew your support. After which Bridlington Spa reserves the right to make the seat available to re-name.
  • Requests to transfer a plaque to an alternative seat cannot be accommodated once a donation has been made.
  • Plaques will be installed within a reasonable period following receipt of payment and approval of the inscription.
  • Seats are currently only available in the stalls until it reaches a sellout.
  • All monies from the Name a Seat campaign will come directly to Bridlington Spa and will be fully invested in ongoing projects, including, but not limited to, improved access facilities, and upgrading technical equipment.
  • If a named seat is removed, replaced or becomes unavailable due to refurbishment, maintenance, health and safety requirements or operational reasons, Bridlington Spa reserves the right to relocate the plaque to a comparable seat or alternative suitable location.
