Tiny Treasures

FREE - Sessions for babies and children under 5 years old, to explore themes in our museum and art gallery, accompanied by their parent or carer. Each session has a different play focus with hands-on activities including messy play, handling objects, sand, craft activities and more. At The Treasure House.

First World War Lives

In 2014 the Archives service launched a project to research the lives of the East Riding First World War Service men who appeared in the Green's Almanac. Our dedicated group of research volunteers have now found the stories of more than 600 local men. Come along to hear more about the stories they've discovered in the Archives. This Event is at the Treasure House.

Finding Henry: Somme Battlefield Recovery and Identification

Steve Erskine (Green Howards Museum) will tell the fascinating story of how the Green Howards Museum helped identify human remains found on the Somme. At the Treasure House.

Archives in 3D: Maritime

As part of the Heritage Lottery Funded project 'Trawling Through Time: The Story of Cook, Welton & Gemmell' this free, full-day workshop will give you the opportunity to learn how to create your own digital reconstructions of Hull and East Riding maritime heritage directly from plans illustrations and other documents held in the Archives. This event takes place at the Treasure House.
