The All England Theatre Festival, now in its 8th decade, is the only countrywide, competitive festival of one act drama in England. Eight groups will be competing to win a place in the next round and compete in the semi-final. Local groups from Headlands School, Bridlington School, Sparklers and Migrant Theatre will be among them, competing against Driffield and Market Weighton based teams. Groups are a mixture of amateur adult and youth performers, of varying sizes. The one act plays are no longer than 50 minutes each and audiences can expect to see at least two shows for their ticket price. Friday and Saturday matinee tickets include the offer to see the final Saturday night performance and prize giving for free! Performances are: Friday 8 March at 7.30pm Saturday 9 March at 2pm & 7.30pm. Tickets cost £6 (adults), £5 (children) and give free entry to the performance and prize giving on Saturday night.
