Manchester Camerata - 'Probably Britain's most adventurous orchestra' (The Times) begins its new season in Withernsea after receiving a Royal Philharmonic Society award with local groups and schools last year. We'll be taking you on a voyage through Nordic and Russian wilderness, featuring the atmospheric In the Hall of the Mountain King by Edvard Grieg and Night on the Bare Mountain by Modest Mussorgsky. Young people from local schools will also perform their own new song inspired by the music you will hear this afternoon.
