Sewerby Winter Woodland 2022

9-23 December 2022 with relaxed performances 12 December 4.30pm and 5pm (reduced volume, no sparks at the front of the house, no haze or smoke machines, no fire in the finale).

The hugely popular Sewerby Winter Woodland will return to Sewerby Hall and Gardens this Christmas, from 9-23 December. An all new spectacular display of lights, sounds and special effects will bring the grounds to life for a great evening out this festive season. After its successful launch in 2021, when over 12,000 people visited the grounds for the sell-out event, this year's Sewerby Winter Woodland will include a new theme - a chance to meet the Winter Woodland Elves in their natural habitat! The Winter Woodland Elves are causing mischief - tinkering with lights and sound to create a stunning party atmosphere in the woods, with the emphasis firmly on fun. It will be an opportunity to come and enjoy the woods on a free-flowing walk, lit up with stunning displays of colour, and to see what the woodland elves get up to outside of the toymakers' workshop - playing, crafting, and dancing with the reindeer. The house itself will be filled with Christmas decorations, lights and trees, and the cheeky elves will be hiding in the rooms. There will also be a new exhibition in the house, 'Elves - not just for Christmas'.

An all new food and drink area will be created, with a large marquee in the courtyard area. Food will be supplied from Stables Pizza Company and the Clock Tower Cafe. The Marquee will house a licensed bar, from Louisiana bars.

Tickets go on sale online on Wednesday 29 June with priority tickets for Sewerby Annual Pass holders and Bridlington Spa Members on sale Tuesday 28 June.
